Alhamdulillah, over 300 people from all over DFW (and even a few people from out of town) attended Qalam Institute’s first official seminar – Divine Ethics: Tafsir Surah al-Hujurat.

Those in attendance enjoyed a real treat as Imam AbdulNasjir Jangda and Imam Muhammad Asif covered many lessons of this surah in a professional and academic manner while continually maintaining focus on how the lessons could be applied to the day to day life of every Muslim.

The Qalam vision of 1,000 students is also starting to materialize. Alhamdulillah, some of the students said that they had been motivated to memorize Surah Hujuraat after taking this class. One group of students has also started memorizing Surah Luqman in anticipation of the April 25th class, Written in Gold – watch the YouTube trailer.

   These are excellent lectures, may Allah subhanatall bless this community, shuook who presented and all those individuals who worked on making this knowledge available for people like me who are at distance.

   Excited about the upcoming program. I would appreciate if there is a means of sharing this information via internet live to other centers who might benefit with this right away.
