Qalam Institute: Believer Meter Class Recordings

Alhamdulillah our 3rd Qalam Institute seminar was held on July 25th at Plano Masjid with Imam AbdulNasir Jangda, Imam Yaseen Sheikh, and Imam Nadim Bashir.

The seminar covers select passages of the Qur’an that focus on the characteristics of the believers, such as the beginning of Surah Mu’minoon and the end of Surah al-Furqaan.

Nouman’s Tafsir Surah Burooj from May 13th

Brother Nouman Ali Khan came to do a Tafseer session at IAMC on Wednesday May 13th. This session was part of an on-going series he conducts live from Maryland. Over 500 people join in to listen online each week as well alhamdulillah. The series is part of his Bayyinah Dream project. Alhamdulillah, over 300 people from all over DFW (and even a few people from out of town) attended Qalam Institute’s first official seminar – Divine Ethics: Tafsir Surah al-Hujurat.

Those in attendance enjoyed a real treat as Imam AbdulNasjir Jangda and Imam Muhammad Asif covered many lessons of this surah in a professional and academic manner while continually maintaining focus on how the lessons could be applied to the day to day life of every Muslim.

The Qalam vision of 1,000 students is also starting to materialize. Alhamdulillah, some of the students said that they had been motivated to memorize Surah Hujuraat after taking this class. One group of students has also started memorizing Surah Luqman in anticipation of the April 25th class, Written in Gold – watch the YouTube trailer.
